A smooth fine plastic clay with excellent throwing properties making this a good choice for learning on the wheel. Iron content adds visual texture to glazes with small iron specks visable in oxidation, to a greater degree in reduction.
Good colour response in wood firings.
Try this clay for making slips for saggar firing.
