AMACO HF-9 Zinc Free Clear is a glossy glaze recommended for use with underglazes to reduce the incidence of colour shift. Most underglazes, stains and oxides will show their best colour with Zinc Free Clear.
- Cone 5 / 6
- Brush on to cone 04 bisqueware for best results.
- Dinnerware safe
Note: Some AMACO Underglaze colours may be muted with HF-9 Zinc Free Clear (V-315 Peach, V-316 Light Pink, V-323 Salmon).
Dipping glazes behave differently from brushing and they require thorough testing prior to layering full piece.
