AMACO Velvet Underglaze | V-381 Amethyst
Amethyst is a deep grape colour that is vivid at cone 05, darkens at cone 5, and becomes a deep violet and begins to lose its colour slightly at cone 10. A clear glaze deepens the colour of the underglaze significantly at any temperature.
AMACO Velvet Underglazes offer saturated colour, excellent coverage, and reliable results. They're as easy to use for beginners and students as they are for professional ceramicists and artists working with clay. Velvets fire true-to-colour from cone 05/06 and most can be fired up to cone 10.
