The Giffin Grip Model 10 is the ultimate tool for trimming and re-centering leather hard pots on the wheel.  The various Sliders and Rods move in simultaneously to hold your pot on centre and can accommodate a wide range of forms up to 14" (35.5 cm) in diameter.

On top of saving time, the Giffin Grip holds your work gently and securely, eliminating the risk of pots flying across the studio. After a simple one-time adjustment, it quickly snaps on and off your wheel. 

Other uses include:

  • Waxing the foot
  • Sanding and banding
  • Glazing and decorating

Compatible potter's wheels

The Giffin Grip Model 10 fits most potter’s wheels on the market including but not limited to: Shimpo, Brent, Speedball, Skutt, and many more. Any potter’s wheel with a removable splash pan or sufficient side clearance to mount Giffin's 16” (42 cm) Plates, will accommodate the Bottom Brackets attachment system. It can fit onto wheel heads ranging from 8.5” (21.5 cm) to 16” (43 cm) in diameter.
