Chrysanthos Low Sheen Clear Glaze 500ml (Earthenware)

Chrysanthos Low Sheen Glazes are a premium range of satin glazes.

The Low Sheen Clear Glaze may be used over underglaze for a muted effect.

For application to earthenware bisque. When fired correctly will seal and protect the ceramic ware from moisture and discolouration.

To obtain optimum results, apply 2 thin coats with a fan brush. Ensure each coat is dry before applying subsequent coats. Water may be added if necessary to thin the glaze to prevent bubbling or other imperfections.

Low Sheen Glazes should be fired between cone 06 (999c) and cone 04 (1060c) on earthenware bisque that has been previously fired to between cone 04 (1060c) and cone 03 (1101c).

A slow firing is preferable to ensure that the glaze has time to smooth out and produce a silky finish.
