Chrysanthos Stoneware Glaze Clear

Chrysanthos Stoneware Clear is a high gloss transparent glaze for use on bisque-fired clay that has been painted with underglazes, or simply over undecorated clay to show off its natural colour. Once fired correctly the ware will be sealed and protected from moisture / discolouration caused by contact with food and liquids.

SW157 STONEWARE CLEAR

• Firing range between Cone 6 (1,222°C) – Cone 10 (1,305°C).
  
  
• Gloss finish.
  
  
• Food safe.

• Apply 3 even coats of glaze with a soft brush. Ensure each coat is dry before applying subsequent coats at right angles to each other.
  
  
• May also be sponged, sprayed and thinned with clean water if necessary to improve glaze flow.
  
  
• This glaze will fire transparent. The coloured appearance is intended to assist application by highlighting which areas have been glazed.
