Chrysanthos Volcano Glazes create a highly textured surface reminiscent of dry lava. These special effects glazes are intended for mid fire temperatures, and for sculptural / decorative pieces only.

  • Firing range between Cone 4 (1,186°C) – Cone 8 (1,263°C).

  • Not food safe.

  • Apply thick using 3 - 4 coats, ensuring each layer is dry before applying the next.

  • This is a stiff glaze which will not run.

  • Colours are intermixable within the range.
